Just had Session #3 of our SF game powered by #Cypher wherein the crew, under investigation for the disappearance of the bounty hunter (whom they have hostage), ended up killing the detective and his cops before blasting out of the Downport and hiding the ship in forest. Fugitives, much. Fun times!
Cypher System book plus Stars are Fire book on a desk with XP cards and a d20 on top.

Today’s the first session for Ariadne’s Thread, an SF game powered by Cypher System and set in our own universe that riffs off Firefly, Alien, and a little dose of the Rebellion. Exciting!

Tonight’s the night! Prepping for Session #1 of the Karameikos campaign (powered by GURPS). Last night I had so many ideas, I had to get up at 2am and write them down to clear my head enough to sleep! Never fear, by morning I had a bucket load more ideas spilling out of my dreams. 🎲🎲🎲

Meanwhile, I have a copy of the new D&D Starter Set to investigate for the school club.
The box from the front shows a sword wielding warrior and her party facing a dragon with the words “Starter Set: Heroes of the Borderlands” emblazoned at the bottom with the Dungeons & Dragons logo at the top. This is a chunky, heavy box very different in style 2014-2024 starter sets.

Been out for a walk down Southend pier today.
