Hiking along a country road this afternoon I had to stop as a dozen peacocks crossed my path. Going to consider this early Thanksgiving parade a good sign.

Still a little sick but did regain control of my personal WA account from a thief today. Even with Donnie publically defending the Saudi's decision to murder a journalist I need to remember every step forward can build momentum. Does it almost feel like we've been here before?

Will ignore the news to state that only Provolone cheese is acceptable when making a cheesesteak sub. If you're making the effort to serve them for your family or friends please remember that. 🙂

“Contrary to the myths, H-1B workers are not indentured. The H-1B visa is essential for American innovation and competitiveness, and killing it will only push more American companies to leave the US permanently,” explains the Cato Institute’s David Bier.

The show Wayward Pines is an excellent analogy for those that feel trapped in their life by circumstance.

This afternoon I did a short 3.5 mile loop. A school bus let some kids off about 500 yards in front of me. By the time I got up there they were all inside except for one 11 year old boy. He waited until I got in front of his yard & said, "Greetings Old Person.". I chuckled, waved.& kept going

For cardio, I have walked ~139 miles so far in October. Mostly in 3-8 mile daily loops from the house. Not sure if it has helped my fitness in any way yet for some reason local people are starting to recognize me.

Mansion? No. Heliocopter? No Small tropical island? Naaaahhh....First thing I'm going to do if I ever become wealthy is hire an editor because we can make a difference when people can understand what we're saying.

When anyone over 65 tells me that a place or famous person is too socialist/communist I shrug and know they watch Fox News too much.

If you were to name one novel that you read as a teen that changed how you looked at the world what would it be? For me it was The Stand by Stephen King. It wasn't the plot so much as the different settings and character profiles helped the then 13y old me begin to perceive complexity.

Have you ever noticed that ghosts never bother to dust the house, clean the kitchen or fold laundry? If they're going to stay at a place for free they could at least tidy up a little.

Trying to explain dating in the current era to my male friends that have been married since the 90s is similar to attempting to teach a blind person sign language. They really don't have the ability to get it. Fair's fair, I hope they never need to.

Epstein files are a worthless distraction. The "anything but Trump" mantra is what lost the election. Sadly there is no leadership to oppose the new Oligarchy. Do you think this is going to stop when the 79 year old blowhard dies?

You can't make up for the time we have lost. Its gone. The best thing to do going forward is to create the masterpiece that only a brilliant artist can. Isn't that what you were born for?

In 2024 Birmingham, St Louis, Detroit, Memphis & Baltimore were the 5 cities with the highest murder rate per capita. Instead of addressing them Trump is sending the National Guard to L A, DC & possibly Chicago. Clever diversion strategy to keep his opposition totally off balance.

A friend gave me a new pair of Merrell Moab 3(s) the other day as thanks for thowing away an old pair of Nike's. They are Ideal for hiking trails, roads, sidewalks and lake shores. Been impressed with that particular shoe for years. Occasionally my friends are so considerate its impressive.

A few weeks ago the woman behind me forgot to use her brakes. Fortunately we both lived through that first meeting.

"Stop thinking about something else when I am talking to you!" Are the eleven words adults with ADhD hear at least once a week.

Still less than a brigade deployed to a city of four million. CDC was wiped out today, the BBB is stalled & tarrifs return in 4 weeks. You're being played, fools. Please try to play to win .

Doesn't matter if its code, anecdotal or fiction do yourself a favor and never attempt to write before drinking that first cup of coffee.

Remember we're dealing with two corrupt narcissists wito have arrested development. In the short term they'll pretend the problem never happened. Then the annual EV tax credits will be reinforced & Musk will say he was only joking. Attention will be diverted by new executive orders/scapegoats.
