There are a surprising number of 'this idiom used to have more words in it!' false factoids out there. A lot of them have the vibes of someone wanting to one-up people who kept calling them on their shit :P

His eyes burn with a terrible red light, and the last thing the burglar hears is a dispassionate voice failing miserably to sound cute and serene.
"Oh... You've been impaled."

As someone who was a bit sad we didn't get something closer to 'old canon' Viktor, this sort of stuff is precisely why I'll never say what they did instead is bad. It wasn't the story I expected, but it was a fantastically-told and affecting story regardless (even if they did Warwick a bit dirty :P)

Considering it's the case with the terrible clown, the even worse ventriloquist, and an unbearable client, it's like the writers went, 'Hmmm... I bet you we can make people forget about how bad these all are by doing the worst thing of all..."

From my time in the produce department, I found most pears to be a very similar level of 'perfectly fine', with a few surprisingly good and surprisingly bad outliers. And also that some change categories in a hurry if you leave them alone for a few too many hours.

I use a Logitech G600, mostly because I used to have a Razer MMO mouse and didn't want to pay the name brand fee when I eventually replaced it. I play so many games where the numpad at my thumb is incredibly useful, though...

It's such a wild choice. Obviously generative AI in ANY capacity is going to suck balls, but I can at least see the (rickety, rotten) train of logic for how it might be involved in art or writing pipelines. Which part of the QA process could the Ever-Wrong Guessing Machine actually DO?

The Layton crossover is... BONKERS. Whether that's in a good way or a bad one will probably depend on how much you like Layton's existing brand of 'no it's a logical explanation we promise!' insanity.

I think it makes sense for the 2D entries that DO have a lot of features of a bullet-hell game in reverse, but as soon as things jump to 3D, projectiles are a much less prominent threat compared to body-blocking enemies and AoEs.

As of the Switch officially being replaced, I'm at a solid 0. Any other consoles I've owned since the 360/PS3 era has been a loaner from work.

Yeah, while I don't trust Kraft could pull this off WELL, the concept of apple pie with cheddar is relatively common, so there's a certain logic behind the combo here.
