Literally WHY would I ever want the stock settings on Bambu brim ever? It doesn't even touch lol. At least prusa slicer does.

so... backlight / EL panel under the full scale?

Really awesome effect.

Dear associate,

"70" is an expression of how much of the layer is full of supports when fully supporting. Or closer. Other shapes will get more than one branch, the sphere just happens to get only some sort supports at the first overhang angle transition, then the big lightning build up for the central peak

Oh finally, that's the kind of construction hardhat cutouts that work good for pet ears! Nice. People have been asking me for me to modify my construction hard hat for cats and dogs to include an ear cut out and I wasn't sure what shape to make it, now I see.

Nope, although I did help with the design of th... ///muffled bag over head noises///

70% lightning infill. go ahead and right click in bambu studio to add a primitive sphere shape, set it to 70 lightning, and check out the slicing results ;)

Looks like it. I kinda like that idea too, you can have a primary workhorse nozzle and other nozzle sizes available as needed, or simply a primary color and secondaries.
November 18, 2025 at 4:18 PM
And you know what?... It should.
November 18, 2025 at 3:41 PM
Yeah
November 18, 2025 at 7:06 AM
Like the current print job is both fat nozzle and ams, best for light piping to have some good volume to the extrusions.
November 18, 2025 at 5:07 AM
But yes, 8 colors is the plan😅
November 18, 2025 at 5:06 AM
Mainly i need a fat nozzle workhorse machine, and a normal nozzle multicolor. I can always pop either ams unit into the printer without, if needed.
November 18, 2025 at 5:05 AM
Ill have to make a shelf to put them side by side. the lid opens above, so no stacking unless they are pretty far from each other and i dont have the space for that vertically.

Truth
November 18, 2025 at 4:03 AM
This current printer will have no AMS and my new printer will have both AMS and AMS2 😊
November 18, 2025 at 4:03 AM
The AMS2 I'll receive soon is supposed to be 60% faster, for what it's worth.
November 18, 2025 at 3:07 AM
nope, printing it in duplicate, so they can have 2. only costs a tiny bit more time in the big picture. Same number of filament changes.

see you in just over 2.5 days
