Now that's probably me being french but some of the enthusiasm feels a bit unnatural. When things are scripted, I think many french people will like it either flat or not enthusiast. French actors often say that some american actors overplay so it's likely a cultural thing though

I would love it! I usually go on bluesky after a long day and reading more technical stuff is the thing that ends me - no more internet for today. But this is lightweight and appealing. Doesn't tire me at all.

I've been told recently that russians might speak in very convoluted ways because of the regime. They need to turn every sentence into something "acceptable" to actually say what they think in a sneaky way. Are we witnessing some kind of "rebellion" here ?

I guess that's juste me being tired of the permanent bragging culture :( I I I everywjere. So many nasty things coming out of this. We should not need people to brag about what they do in my opinion. Either it's noticed, either it's not but they do it because they feel it's the right thing to do.

I never got a promotion by staying in a company that is equivalent to a salary raise I can get by changing company. I was also freelancer for a while. Some of us trully don't care about recognition. At all.

What if we don't want to? Recently some engineer got praised for something I did because he seeks more recognition than I. I am doing computer science, not marketing. I couldn't care lass about being patted on the head. If I get fired, I'll find another job. In the end, the loss is to the company.

Thank you for your work. It's important to have such details and remember what ukrainians soldiers and civilians have to endure. It could be better, I think that's the point of the article, but it also underlines the hopelessness they feel.

I do love survival movies because of how it surfaces the worse/best of human nature and unerlines how fragile a society can be. But it is sort of an escape hatch to reality. While this movie is quite the contrary, it sticks your nose deep into our society, no escape hatch! Quite a difference 😁
