This Solutions Scholars project will explore whether ways of framing climate extreme impacts, such as through terms of frequency (eg once every 10 years), likelihood (eg 20 times more likely in a year), or temperature (eg making a heatwave 1.2 degrees warmer) have an impact on mobilizing action.

At the UBCO Climate Conversation: Climate Research Round Table, cross-disciplinary participants shared their work on topics like alternative transportation (such as a prototype for an air-conditioned bicycle), animal population modeling, environmental economics, and community climate adaptation.
