Went to see Masquerade tonight with my sister. It's an immersive Phantom of the Opera and it was a really good time. I made my mask special but they also give you a petty cool looking one if you didn't bring your own.

I'm in New York for my birthday and to visit my sister. I booked a hotel for the night and just down the block was an Asian market with one of those whipped cream fruit sandwiches.

Spending a quiet night still recovering from food poisoning. I made a passable beef stew, the windows are letting in the cool fresh air, I'm reading a book, and this cat is sleeping next to my leg. It's a nice existence.

Packing means clearing out my office which means I keep finding the springs Artemis has been leaving in here. I've thrown at least 6 out into the other room. She's brought back 3 yellow ones to leave at the door

Oh baby are we moving at the right time. Saw some water damage on the wall. Got someone out here (showed up at the door with no prior notice btw) who cut away the dry wall. The pipe is entirely separated and there's definite mold. And now we've had a hole in the wall for almost a week.
