My first apartment in 1985 was around $300. Higher than average because it was near Disneyland. The same complex now rents for $2450. It’s a low income, heavily immigrant neighborhood where most people work 2+ jobs to get by. Disney employees can’t even afford to live in the area.

Right? My first exposure to his wife was a video of a woman in a parking lot telling her to go back where she came from. And now she’s all in with people who don’t want her here and would deport her in a heartbeat.

30 yrs ago, I needed open heart surgery at age 28. I didn’t have health insurance so I lied on my application and got coverage. $350 monthly premiums. We had just bought a house and started a business. Had to postpone our wedding because $40k in medical debt and ended up bankrupt a year later.
