The charge worked out to 25% of the price of the record. The expiration of the "de minimus" rule on import duties didn't help either as I've never paid that before on a personal purchase (< $800). So if these products are exempted, the supply chain delivering it to me didn't know about it!

I think there's a lot of confusion going on right now to be honest. I'm not sure what's exempted and what's not. This was a purchase from Peter Gabriel's website, shipping from UK to USA. The charges on the website did not display any tariff, but I got a charge from a third party for customs release
