There are so many good Sphinx arts in mtg. Dream Trawler remains an all-timer (and was a hugely annoying card in its set).

- Mystic Retrieval has incredible flexibility for how unassuming it looks.
- Skullwinder makes for such a fun time in multiplayer.
- Honored Heirloom is IMO an unappreciated gem that's a great way to eat your veggies multiple ways.
- Healer of the Pride is a personal flavor fave.

About a month I released a physical print & play game designed to be playable at LARPs! It's an asymmetric 2-player card game where one player explores a forest for light while the other tries to hide them and put monsters in the way.

As someone who doesn't regularly draw, doesn't have a lot of tools for it, but still decided to make all the art for my game, there are resources out there freely available to either use or to help you make your own and it is hugely rewarding to finish something and have it be yours.

Posting more details bc Im really proud of this! I spent a couple months designing and making a card game to play at my LARP. I made all the art too!

When I made some playtest materials for my tabletop game a consistent point of feedback was how charming people found my hastily scrawled card icons. Not the most useful piece of feedback but by far the funniest.
