I would add though that centrists and Republicans who make an issue of big words Dems don’t really use generally pull them from either academic or activist contexts, and the silencing of people in those realms is not, in the age of grants being cancelled by word search, an incidental side effect

You're watching the end of the kayfabe of Texas politics. There is no more playing pretend that Dems have any power. The only reason that Dems exist is so that quorum is present to pass Republican priorities. If Republicans could find a way to replace the Dems with coma patients, they would.
