I prepped this a long time ago as a backup in case my Descent Into Avernus PC died; the conceit is that the imp is presented as your main character but is actually just a familiar for the plasmid that lives inside the reliquary. Figured I'd post it now since it probably won't be used.

5/5 I don't think I'll be doing anything this long for the next edition, even without paneling 16 pages is a lot for me.

It is somewhat reminiscent of a funerary rite. Page 15 text: The world is flooding now, and maybe for the rest of my life. The art shows a rat standing at the prow of the rowboat, shading their eyes to look out towards the horizon again. The sky is cloudy and the floor has become a sea, but there are birds in the sky. Page 16 text: But not forever. I may not get to see it, but I will have helped. The art shows the view from the prow of the rowboat, towards distant land and mountains.

I'm doing a rug tufting DIY thingy tomorrow and put together some design ideas ahead of time... it was so hard to dial back the detail but I really love all three of these (the bird is the one I think!!!)
