As a massive fan of the original Hollow Knight (one of my top 5 games of all time), I wholeheartedly agree with you on Silksong. Sometimes I love Silksong... until I come to an impossible to decipher path, or an unexpected and disproportionately difficult boss fight, all for lackluster rewards.
