I’m probably biased, but it still holds up. Especially once they get back to the human world and the parents roles get a bit larger. Outstanding stuff.

You could see it in the way Demona revealed herself to Hakon, and in the way Goliath sheaths his full presence to Princess Katherine. The 'wings as capes' are such a loud statement.

I played Birth By Sleep recently, and I’ve already beaten KH3 many times over.
I’m a little gutted we’re moving right to the foretellers and Yozora instead of diving more into these frenemies.

I’m enjoying it. However I think an 18 episode count is a bit odd, and either trimming to 13 or pushing to 26 would’ve served the story better.
One thing for sure though, I HATE Mary.

This was wonderful.
Even through the more tumultuous parts of the production, this is a delight to watch.
I fear documentaries about post-2000s Disney animated productions would be a lot more stressful.

A story choice that scratches my brain in the best way is when characters have atypical names that have a theme. Examples?
The mechs in Darling In The Franxx are all named after flowers.
The Black Org. agents in Detective Conan are named after alcoholic beverages.
I love that stuff.
