These two little things mean so much to me, and both were given to me by my wife during some hard times. I keep them in my lunchbox as a little reminder that no matter how bad things may be, we have each other, and that's more than enough.

So I just dropped her off and now I'm in the parking lot, in my car just an emotional mess. I know it'll be fine and the vet we take her to I trust with all my animals lives, but shit can happen. So I'll go home and sleep while I wait for the call to come get her.

My boss's last day was yesterday, a real chill down to earth guy that you could crack jokes with that would get you reported to HR. The only boss I could ever say I am sad to lose, but he did give me a gift that really shows me just how much we vibe.
