And I re read (listened to) King's Dark Tower series this way and it was a different experience. I found i enjoyed it more in some ways than reading. I have gone through several books now audio and I love it. Some partner with kindle and you can go back and forth and it keeps your place.

My habits had changed from reading an hour every morning to watching my daily news politics shows. Then exercising while listening to my news shows. And reading was hard to return to. I finally found audio books again and it has been fantastic. While driving, cooking etc.
