I confirm that it works on linux super well. I think it's initially developed on Linux too.

I had a little bit of a hassle with my kamvas, but I made it work well in the end. Official drivers work well on some distros, but there still is "OpenTabletDriver" that supports a LOT of drawing tablets.

looking into other softwares is a good idea too if you want to. If you ever actually get into linux, try the programs that are in linux with windows, since there is most likely an option for windows too. Krita in replacement for clipstudio if it becomes a hassle, blender, and opentoonz/Tahoma2D

Depends what programs you use really. Anything opensource is most likely friendly with linux. Otherwise you need to find alternatives to your art tools. Toonboom I think works only on redhat/centOS linux, there are clipstudio paint setup tutorials to make it work, davinci works natively.

It is prone to crashing and has quite a bit of bugs that you just have to deal with, but I still support it. These days I use blender for 2D but if I didn't, I'd use tahoma2D

I've done professional work on opentoonz, using its "tahoma2D" fork. I would say that while not 1-to-1, it still offers the similar features. frame by frame with onion skin (and even shift&trace for the pros). tweening. "symbols" kinda. You can drag videos and audio in the timeline and edit them too

That sucks. Might need to do a clean install your OS. Also update your social media sites so they either don't have your discord user link there, or change it to a new user, after clean installing the OS if that is needed. Use different password, and don't forget to 2FA as well. Stay safe.

Blender's noise modifier for the drawing objects (grease pencil objects) will let you decide how often it updates its noise. So add modifier once, and just draw. OT/T2 you need to use filter node tree to make the boil, so it's good to make a template project file that has that set up once.

Blender, opentoonz/tahoma2D (tahoma2D is easier to get into), and krita has motion tweening. Line boiling can be automated in Blender and OT/T2D, but in krita you need to apply filters each frame by hand. In blender the boil is very easy, just use "noise" modifier. All free and powerful programs.

If you want something that has tweening, you can use opentoonz/Tahoma2D (tahoma2D is easier to get into), or blender with its grease pencil stuff (Vector drawing side of the program.), Krita is also a good option. OpenToonz/Tahoma2D is the closest to Flash's symbol based animation I'd say.

Employed friends still make weekends mean something. Tho it's that they want to relax or go somewhere, aka they're offline. So weekends to me as an unemployed person is actually lesser than what one would expect :D it's all fine tho. Just funny how in school days weekends meant more friends activity
