Consider #grapheneos for your phone, it's de-googled and runs exceptionally well. And there are tons of apps to replace Google ones.

This is a good thing. Outliers can get with the program or get sidelined. I've heard enough from those who wave off security issues in northern Europe like it's a hysterical reaction.
