We're running TyreCheck2025 for a vital reason: too many motorists still neglect regular tyre checks. This week, we're encouraging drivers to visit an NTDA member and make sure their tyres are safe and roadworthy.
In the UK, driving with bald tyres can result in a fine of up to £2,500 and three penalty points per tyre, so if all four tyres are worn below the legal limit, you could face a court summons, a loss of your licence, and a fine of up to £10,000! Get your tyres checked during #TyreCheck2025. ✅

40 Million tyres every year in the UK reach their end-of-life, and where do these go? Since 2006 it has been illegal to dispose of them in landfills, & these are now picked up by paid licensed operators. Sadly, tyres are still getting dumped & being stored illegally creating environmental hazards.
