So considering we have the inherent randomisation of drift travel ie the dice roll could mean 5 days or 15 days. Does that mean communication use hose same beacons for the same message could take 5 or 15 days?

Oh I agree, I get it that we are not getting traveller level of realism in terms of speed and distance but also factor in the different ways of travel like planar drives of the tetrad or the celestial and hell drives… they all appear to be forking some kinda of wormhole through extraplnar space
