I saw on The Bulwark interview yesterday they kept referring to the intelligence agent as "she" and "her" so I don't know who originally published that it is a female, but it's known the agent in question is a woman.

Perfectly stated. I dgaf what MAGAs or wholly uninformed/brainwashed individuals think. Those who know, understand the stakes & that's all that matters when it comes to life & death situations. Just like I dgaf what a health ins corp thinks about what medical treatment I need or don't need.

Precisely. Keep playing the "honorable" game expecting there will be different results is insane. Particularly when there are direct, public threats to lives coming from the incoming administration.
Biden must use his powers to slow down the fascist overtake of our country as much as possible.

Exactly what I don't understand when people say this. Trump's cabinet nominations are people who have publicly supported life imprisonments, death penalties, and even firing squads for the people on their Revenge Tour list; people who haven't committed crimes. This shouldn't be a FAFO moment.

This is in no defense of these grifters at all. They thought if they put a time limit & the anesthesia exceeded that limit, they could simply deny the claim. Not that anesthesia would be halted mid-surgery. It's one of the reasons the shooter did what he did & was written on the bullet casing. Deny.

@muellershewrote.bsky.social Allison - I totally believe you and knew the VA would be one of Trump's main priorities to kneecap due to the amount of money involved in the Dept of the VA. But do you have a link or source you could cite to this please? I looked and can't find one. -Daily listener!

Cohen's parole was revoked because he wrote a tell-all book & DJT didn't like it. Exercising the 1st Amendment right by publishing a book cannot be a condition for his parole to be revoked & Judge Hellerstein agreed it was retaliatory and released him after he served a month in solitary confinement.

I believe these people are in mortal danger. They think the Biden administration is corrupt, blanket pardons or not, that's not changing anyone's mind. They voted for a convicted felon to be president. We aren't playing the same game. I guess you and I will have to agree to disagree.

I've watched/listened to Morning Joe for years. I don't think Frum's part was in the shorter podcast episode that day, for obvious reasons now that I read the article. George, Frum, Willie, Rattner, etc. were always my favorites anyway. Something about Joe & Mika annoyed me. I won't listen anymore.👋

So why was his parole revoked? If he wasn't thrown back in jail on new charges/no trial, then what was the reason for revoking his parole and incarcerating him again?

No, I don't think they'll honor pardons Biden gives. However, it would pump the brakes somewhat. Additionally, it would further expose DJT, his administration, and the SCOTUS of partisan weaponization of power and disregard for the Constitution.

Today, #KashPatel sent a letter to my counsel @markzaidesq.bsky.social threatening to sue & demanding I retract my MSNBC comments on his unfitness to serve as FBI Director. This follows his threats against media & political opponents, showing how he might act if confirmed. I stand by my statements.
(2) Yes, Kash Patel (FBI Director pick) has publicly discussed life imprisonments & even the death penalty on Steve Bannon's podcast for all of the above and a whole bunch more for years. These people do not care what the law or Constitution states. They will make up crimes as a means to an end.

(1) I wish, but I doubt Biden would do a blanket pardon. He really must start issuing pardons to people like General Milley, General Kelley, Admiral Stavridas, Judge Luttig, Lt. Alexander Vindman, Congressman Raskin, Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell, et al.

He was convicted of a crime and served time for that, but then his rights were unconstitutionally remanded when he wrote a tell-all book and was subsequently sent back to prison for that. There was no law broken, no charge or conviction for writing the book. www.nytimes.com/2020/07/23/n...

I don't agree at all. Pardons will make it more difficult for the Trump Revenge Tour to jail anyone who said or did anything that hurt MAGAs feelings. They've been publicly talking about throwing people in jail for crimes they didn't commit for years.
