Shame was good enough to make me not want to be gay for a huge part of my life, why shouldn’t it stop someone from being a pos?
I think this comes from a good place but I disagree. A common thread in deradicalization stories is stigma: Once people start losing friends and jobs they reconsider their beliefs.
Obviously you should try to be nice to people but you also need to draw a line where you won’t engage anymore.

I recall conversations about how “Rent” aged badly. Yet 30 years later, we’re dealing with an almost identical set of issues.
Can’t afford rent, threats against poor communities, rise of deadly diseases, and efforts to replace reality with technology - all in the name of appeasing investors.
