We covered Terrifier for Halloween and now on to the sequel Terrifier 2 open.spotify.com/episode/4HE1...

Most Octobers we cover a heavy hitter or classic, nearly untouchable, horror film and this is right up there with the best for us.

Reading the most wonderful debut novel, The Witch of Willow Sound by Vanessa F. Penney and loving the wordplay. For every 'cruddy and messed up' colloquialism there is high flying poetry beside it. I really recommend it, even half way through.

The paperback is up now too! Thank you to everyone who has picked up a copy and commented. As mentioned elsewhere, I finally feel comfortable with this monstrosity of a book.

Hanging out now and for the next hour or so for Chris' album release listening party.

aenorex.bandcamp.com/live/vaguely...

I've only heard one song off the album so far (unless you count hearing it being recorded through the floorboards!) so looking forward to this!

Summer break, however unplanned, is upon us. The heat has me a little tapped, zapped, and sapped so I'll be back soon!

Currently reading: The Knave of Graves by SJ Shank
Just finished: Toadhead by Andrew Lyall
Currently listening: Looking Glass Sound by Catriona Ward

Perfect summer blend for me!

Next on the show, I'll be going through 50+ extreme horror and splatterpunk books on my shelf. It is one part shelf tour, and one part discussing the gems of the genre. I also get into a handful of books that are on the edge of extreme as well.

We watched Things since I'd never seen it before, then watched The Soultangler since Chris had never seen it before.

A bad film crapstravaganza for all.
