hold the fuck up Virgilia didn't define either the boiler room or the chapel in game 3 as locked but then Battler did and Beatriche agreed? but not with her specific definition and i'm pretty sure that the boiler room had 2 doors, because that's why Kanon went in, in chapter 1 (if we believe that) she's not saying anything about him hiding the fact either (screenshot of a frame from Umineko with Virgilia speaking) Virgilia, you wily motherfucker Also hasn't nanjo been alive after the first 6 every time?

thought: i forgot that I'd wondered about this, but how is Maria able to read the letter? it has a lot of complicated words- especially compared to how she was struggling to remember the word 'messenger' moments before. is it written in hiragana? no one else gets to look at the letter, if i'm remembering correctly. in that case, there may be awkward intonation since japanese typically has no spaces, and there are a LOT of double-meanings. granted, this'd make things a bit hard for any translation to capture, but I don't know if Ryukishi would be thinking about that at the time of writing. The connection between the note and the killings is just kinda... assumed after the fact. it is never outright stated in the letter itself that there would be any deaths. (what if someone was afraid of having their assets taken, and starts killing in an attempt to save said assets, then blamed beatrice by connecting the killings to the letter by creating a metaphor that wasnt intended by the sender?) wait a fucking second. Beatriche doesnt consider 'furniture' to be human. DOES THIS MEAN THEY DONT COUNT TOWARDS THE 18 PEOPLE wait, then they would have nothing to do with the case, according to the red text. which is obviously wrong since they are some of the victims. UNLESS SHE DOESNT CONSIDER THEM ALIVE????? WAIT. she (maybe) told Shannon she was human. but then she went back on that? fuck... Beatriche you fickle fuck if this turns out to be a real part of the reasoning I'm gonna be so mad. let my boy be human!!!!!! I've claimed him for the lgbt community and also as my son boy but also that'd mean he was innocent. which. hooray! but cmon man what if... the first 6 were a fucking brawl I doubt it. there is a lot of empathy in this game and that does not mesh with 'the entire family punched each others heads off'. but. imagine.

sus that Nanjo saw Kinzo. like having the doctor visit gives credibility to him being alive, but his grandson has an incurable ailment, so he may be susceptible to bribes. or he is doing voices inside the room and pretending to be Kinzo. the internal lines were fucked by the typhoon this time around (board 4 has calls happening with these lines. so either it's arbitrarily different, or the calls are being made some other way. not sure how. but it gives me something to mull over.) the consistency of the magic circles in the first 2 is unlikely unless it was done by someone who wasn't the killer? maybe???? The 3rd person stuff seems like the sort of thing an observer would assume, maybe not necessarily Natsuhi's real thoughts. maybe the reason these sections get more fantastical and less sympathetic over each chapter is because Battler's perception is becoming warped? i assumed it was Beatriche's narration, but maybe the first chapter is a bit different in perspective? it's still messing with me i REALLY wanna finish ch 4 tea times but someone did a superchat that marcy read and it was along the lines of 'nows your last chance before the game starts holding your hand' and i got competitive. (two emojis of a person coughing up blood while on the floor) IS THE OLD MAN DEAD OR NOT?? I STILL DONT KNOW!!!! im too busy with my burnt-out-gifted-kid pride to find out that said, if he is dead in board 1, then Nanjo gotta be in on it. which calls a lot into question also: the motive talk with Eva was interesting. ch 3 and 4 are a huge departure from this eva. but also: seems the motive is a grudge against the entire family; not necessarily a desire for the money. gonna say the moms are driven to kill based on the stress of impending mortality, plus fake or disease-ridden gold room if the motive is like in Higurashi, then i probably won't be able to predict it. i can only try to figure out a vague image of the incidents, but even then, it's all been conjecture (emoji of a person coughing up blood on the floor)

"the amount that reappears later is. alarming. like this is setting up a lot of plot points." discord messages from a single person. "ok relistening and trying to not listen to Third Person Perspectivr stuff. which sucks bc that includes the scene with Natsuhi and Jessica and I liked that scene. sad blobby emoji Rudolf thought he was going to be murdered, but was too Tsundere to explain Shannon was alone. Gouda was alone. These scenes were in 3rd person though Rosa was the last of the parents confirmed alive by Battler before midnight Genji and Kanon were in the guesthouse at midnight. As was Kumasawa. Genji and Kanon are setting up in the morning. They split up. Kanon discovers the mural on the shed. (How does the mural stay on in the middle of a fucking typhoon? blood would probably get washed away, so maybe it's something with better staying power? dunno what) - the marks on Natsuhi's door were only seen by Natsuhi and Genji iirc. genji may have lied for Natsuhi idfk how loyal he is - mirror mentioned!!!!" What is the family Natsuhi came from? is. is she related to rika somehow? since theyre like. a japanese spiritual family and St Lucia (The School Which Sucks Bad) is confirmed to be part of this universe? Eva and Hideyoshi are already in the Parlor. SUSPICIOUS..... (hideyoshi you were the chosen one........ you were the chill uncle who was meant to be the SAVIOR) streamer mentioned 'it being even more complicated' between george and shannon. overthinking the comment. krauss and gohda being the first to be noticed gone made me go 'ooh they fuckin' even though ive already heard this natsuhi stops eva from visiting kinzo. interesting. self-locking study is almost definitely the key to the 3rd board's locked room 6kill Who is the burned body? Thinking about it more makes me go 'wait they said the gender was indeterminate.' so it Could still be Kinzo and the burning is used to disguise time of death, but it's possible he has been dead for over a year. and that wouldn't leave much flesh for burning. (But what if... it was the Beatriche with the umbrella? somehow?? no idea why that'd be necessary. but i had the thought that she could've been Kinzo's secret daughter/granddaughter or something. idk man, he mighta knocked up a Beatriche, at some point..? eh, this makes no sense. the Beatriche that Rosa saw didn't seem to have anyone else before she died. there'd be so many extra leaps in logic if she'd had a kid.
