This tournament experience has been worth the price of admission for Japan alone.

The Japanese also treated us very well during the event. Some of the very best food I have ever had. We were at an Onsen resort for the duration of the tournament, as well as taken to many great food places.

We also had a Kumite we both fought all of the Japanese players back to back in a single game per person. Here were the results:
Typhas: 6W - 10L
MightyMar: 5W - 10L - 1D (draws are possible)
We had one final match where it was MightyMar vs. Me. I won that.
(I also drew the doodles on the board)

Sanctuary of God is finished. I ended up in 9th place in the singles tournament and MightyMar ended up in 13th. In a Japanese tournament of only longtime veterans and literal legends of VSAV, we are actually quite satisfied, and we can live with that placing.
