Pressure fighters are some of my favorite stylists. They have given us some of the finest displays of cage control and sophisticated violence in MMA history. This article deals the intricacies of that style in detail, why it's surprisingly rare, etc. Link: danalbert.substack.com/p/mma-case-s...

This isn't how I expected my day to start. Around 2 years ago, we lost my childhood dog, Clyde. Last night, the other one, Bonnie, passed away. I don't know if I'm to ever have another dog who became excitable just from hearing laughter. Thank you for so much & more.

The way Kenshiro Teraji is able to generate so much power with the way he can retract and re-fire his right is actually ridiculous. It's why he can catch so many off guard, but to do that and still crack is not normal.

Normally, throwing this many consecutive hooks can be dangerous. Miguel 'Happy' Lora makes it work here using the weight transfer in his hips to throw the hook to keep himself moving to the left - which turns Vazquez and forces him to cover up.
