Posting and following fountain pens, F#, functional programming, calligraphy, tolkein, "all genres of music"
QQ offtopic; why use rider and not vscode for F# development? I don't use a mac but half my team does for .net (C#), so I'm trying to expand my understanding of crossplatform feature sets.

Fountain pens for people who write is like a stick shift for people who *really* drive

There's some states that don't teach it, and more that leave it up to the district. The blip was dipping below the majority for a couple of years, but currently most populated areas and states teach cursive. If you don't see it, then I guess you're in a non-required area, or it just didn't stick.

Most states teach cursive. There was a brief blip of a couple of years when some places stopped during the implementation of common core back in 2010, cursive isn't one of the core minimum requirements, but today cursive is the standard practice in the majority of the country.

I highly recommend leuchtturm 1917 paper products if you need alternatives. A bit pricey but amazing quality.

2/2 Out of the 15,000 christian denominations available, they looked at the SBC and thought "well that sounds right and doesn't conflict with my personal beliefs at all!"

So I'm believing them and taking my money elsewhere. Idk if Drew leaving is related, but the church thing is reason enough.

1/2 I did digging to make sure I had the facts.

There's 3 types of christian church. 1) pro-marriage equality, 2) pro-appeasing both bigots and gay people, 3) 100% bigots.

The Goulets are helping *start* a new southern baptist church. The SBC is solidly group 3. Fringe SBC is group 2 at best.

Agreed. The camera does a terrible job picking up the differences. I have a local shop that has an ink sample book so I was able to see it for myself before buying it.

Delayed 2nd response because I had to fill a pen; I would say Chou Kuro is about 10% "blacker", mostly due to being much more matte than the Carbon Black and due to hiding the paper better. They're still both extremely black inks that behave very well in fountain pens.
