Freedom to roam unhindered and untariffed.
Not all the South East is well off. Hastings in East Sussex is recognised as one of the most deprived towns in the South, partly due to being the dumping ground for problem families from London, street sleepers and decades of neglect by councils and governmen.

It’s not a good look for the US. Seems to have a habit of walking away when the going gets tough.

The most useful and intelligent obviously, so the trees get my vote.

With so much flak flying around, are any civilians hit or injured by the spent ammunition? I imagine some of it is larger calibres 20mm etc.

In a translated version in another post, they all claim to have been drunk when they signed up. Whether this is a deliberate ploy of the Russian recruiting officers wasn’t explained.

Could be a legacy from the Tsarist days, where the peasantry bowed and scraped before their masters.

I imagine that the Ukrainian soldiers were promised if they surrendered, they would be taken prisoner and sent to a POW camp. This illustrates how Russians can never be trusted to keep their word. Crazy to think glory hunter Trump’s “peace plan” would result in a lasting peace.
November 22, 2025 at 3:33 PM
What would the world be like now, if Winston Churchill had thrown in the towel and allowed Hitler to keep Nazi occupied Europe in 1940? Europe collectively needs to make it clear to Trump that as it stands, this peace proposal is dead in the water.

A combined Europe would have a bigger industrial capacity than the US. At the moment, a fragmented Europe plays into Putin’s hands, and Trump’s. While a knee jerk reaction by Europe could result in the withdrawal of US forces in Europe and the refusal to supply spare parts for military equipment.
November 22, 2025 at 10:42 AM
And Trump trusts Russian’s to keep to their word? The only thing they respect is military might. That’s why Ukraine should be armed to the teeth and given all assistance possible.
November 22, 2025 at 8:26 AM
Very encouraging. Also enables Ukraine to build drones in a factory setting without having to worry about the factory being targeted by Russian missiles.

What kind of idiots would pose with a machine gun after their wedding? Glad he’s not in any position of power… oh wait, what?

Mobilising 61 year olds seems crazy.

Looks really old only to be a Lieutenant.

Another big knob taken early retirement.

I never tire of seeing Russians being given Ukrainian medicine.
November 21, 2025 at 6:45 PM
It’s almost like Winston Churchill in 1940 making a deal with Hitler, rather than making his famous “we’ll fight them on the beaches” speech. Complete treacherous cave in by the US administration, leaving all Europeans vulnerable to further Russian aggression.
November 21, 2025 at 6:39 PM
The whole of Europe needs to be on this. Tell Trump this plan is rubbish. Europe needs to be spending a lot more on defending ourselves. This is a repeat of the build up to WWII.
November 21, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Every Ukrainian should be angry, and all Europeans too.
November 21, 2025 at 6:10 PM
He’s skirting around some of the questions and is incoherent most of the time. Very worrying that he has all this power in his hands.
November 21, 2025 at 6:08 PM
Looks like he’s taken a few more pages from Putin’s playbook.
November 21, 2025 at 5:56 PM
Obviously has no grasp of the situation in Ukrain or what the proposals represent. Europeans would be crazy to agree to Trumps “peace plan” as it stands. If Russia were to invade Alaska, would the US be happy to give them half of Alaska for peace? Lavrov said Russia had ‘no intention of invading.

Which is better air or ground, and what are the cost differences, and the the pros and cons of each?
November 21, 2025 at 11:26 AM
Assuming they work as efficiently as described, and taking into account the upfront costs, how long would it be before a typical 3 bed home would pay off those costs through energy savings?
