The ID is an identifiable custom structure. Even if the ID is a simple Int, it is still this slow. The speed itself isn't my main complaint – it is why it is making so much work on the main actor.

Awesome. I also played around with container(ization) a while ago and built a fully sandboxed macOS app in which container(ization) is running and therefore fully detached from container installed on the system itself.

Things can get even funnier. If you remove the app sandbox entitlement, i.e., when distributing outside the App Store, you can switch between local and sandboxed hosts.

Where can I find that (prebuilt) image for the Pi?

What is ContainerOS? I assume it’s related to their container or containerization packages?

Not the answer to your question, but do you absolutely need clipShape, or does this also do the job for you?

I also like the new icons, as they now have a uniform size (instead of some having an overlay extending beyond the icon and some not), and I appreciate the overall attempt to make iOS and iPadOS more similar. However, there is now a lot of unnecessary depth.

Have you already upgraded your iPad? Because the floating sidebar is also there. But I still haven’t upgraded to Tahoe on my main machine, because I still have mixed feelings 😅 I am only running it on a dev Mac Mini sitting in the basement.
