And when history asks, “Did you know him, old sport?”
Nigel will smile and reply with retort:
“I may have said hello… or perhaps not at all—
You see, I was busy— in Brussels’ great hall!”

Oh, politics’ stage is a marvellous play,
Where yesterday’s mates are denied the next day.
So raise up your glass, to the Farage technique—
Forgetfulness blooming at least once a week!

“Eight counts of bribery? Russians, you say?
I’m sure I’d remember— but not, well, today.
Perhaps we once shared a lukewarm buffet?
But truly, dear chaps, I’d just wandered away.”

At Nigel’s new memory, thoroughly daft.

He suddenly finds he “just didn’t quite know.”

With a pint and a grin and a well-practised stare.
“Now don’t point your fingers, don’t make such a fuss—
I barely recall who this Nathan chap was!”

Labour is lifting children in Tynemouth Constituency out of poverty by expanding access to free school meals.
Alongside free breakfast clubs, cheaper uniform costs and government-funded childcare, Labour is putting money in parents’ pockets and giving 🚸 the best start in life.

The original sea buckthorn was planted to help stabilise the dunes and create habitat to the top of the bank, after the reclamation of the site of the old Plaza. Over the years its expanded & taken over too much of the dunes. This project will start to reverse this.

S106 Funding will cover the mechanical removal of the Buckthorn, with the same contractors who did this at Warkworth a few years ago on the job. This will just be a couple of trial areas initially in the areas shown in red & yellow on the images attached.

New deal on EU food exports is good news for Fishermen landing Langoustines 🦐 🦐🦐at Shields. Main market Shields fishermen target for langoustines = 🇫🇷🇪🇸🇮🇹, trade was 🔨 by Brexit but should now be easier. It’s a long road back from the chaos of 2016-19, this deal is important
