Oh. My. God. This took me back to 11th grade when a dingbat of a Civics teacher said an essay I wrote “didn’t sound like you.” She didn’t know me AT ALL or would have known English classes and writing were my biggest strengths. Could have asked any of those teachers, but no. So support your message.

Exactly. I know service members who struggle now at the thought of what types of orders will be thrown at them that will skirt the boundaries of legality, if not be downright illegal.

So what that she went to an expensive school? People don’t choose their parents. I grew up in what could be considered privilege, but I (and 4 siblings) have always worked hard, have strong work ethics & an ethos around recognizing our good fortune makes it important to give back. Come on, yourself.

“Hollywood nepo baby” who earned degree from a good school and honed her skills. And maybe you already know (your research would have revealed it) that her spouse had a pretty humble upbringing. Dad was long time college soccer coach (still working), mom a reading teacher. Hardly silver spoon stuff.
