Oh man I am sooooo excited to launch this call for submissions soon! We’re going to buy stories set in our game universe to enrich the backstory and to offer an anthology as a kickstarter reward. Hoping to have this up soon, stay tuned!

I’m not really an anti-AI type, other than the labor issue, but we will be proudly noting this on the video game kickstarter since craftsmanship is real and good and it’s important to support artists.

I'm not surprised to see how many AI-backed visual novels there are these days… but it's kind…

This is a fun poll. Sentiment is broken. "Best" decades are just a factor of how old you were (e.g. "best music" is the decade when you were 17), "worst" decade is just the present--but most people would prefer to live in the present

we read Ken Follett's The Eye of the Needle for book club this month. Just, not a great book? Starts out really strong but by the end it seems like an exercise in Ken finishing his story for class. Really disappointing. Lots of What Not To Do

man. managing a video game script is one thing (it's just another document), but keeping your draft in sync with the game as you're developing sure is a pain in the ass. managing all the sprite's expressions, also a pain in the ass, since they're layered images with hundreds of combinations…
