Someone in a TikTok comment described it perfectly: I've been living a functional life, but not a satisfying one. Heated Rivalry gave me the shot in the arm to actually do something about it, even if it totally rocked my mental state in the process.

Coming to the realization over the past few weeks that I don't, in fact, enjoy being single and actually do want that in my life, but I've been running on autopilot and just going through the motions for so long and it took the fucking gay hockey show for me to wake up.

So now I'm living vicariously through two fictional characters by watching this singular hour of television on loop, while also consciously deciding that I am going to work on myself in 2026 so that I can try and have that kind of connection with another person.

Honestly think this game will slap on PC.
