In case anyone else runs into this; simply uninstalling and rebuilding Ruby in my asdf-powered setup on macOS wasn’t enough, I had to reinstall xcode command line tools then reinstall Ruby and I was good to go

I found this on Google just now after only running into this issue after your post was hours ago. Just in case anyone ever doubted if publishing on the web was really useful 😂
