I’m very curious how they’ll justify this to fans — considering what they charge fans and where they are in the rebuild. There seems to be an accepted idea that fans will just keep paying, but they can only push things so far.

They clearly had too many players and not enough spots, but I’m surprised by just how many bubble players they’re dropping. I’m hopeful that it’s a positive sign of more (or any) urgency from Hoyer.
