Do you have a DMM? Next time I would try to check the voltage at all the connection points in the circuit if you think the problem is power.

Of course! I just recently picked up Pocket after playing Live, and it’s way more fun for collecting cards. However, if you want a more competitive experience and to play with a bunch of prebuilt decks, Live is the better choice. Both fun for different reasons

To add to the other comment, TCGP has a deck limit of 20 (not including energy), max bench size of 3, and only needs 3 knockouts to win. It also lets you open a free pack every day, giving you more opportunities to collect cool cards
