Today finished the 2024 Ugly Sweater Race and got one more medal for the Run Local series! My last race for 2024 and this year has been full of joy, a lot of sweat, a few tears and about 50lbs of medals.

I did a sorta half marathon again! Had the Jingle Bell Run 5k this morning and ran my fastest 5k ever. I may be getting on the naughty list because I snuck a picture in Santa’s chair after the race when he was distracted. #JingleBellRun

Well I finished my first Half Marathon at the Spa Running Festival! I could’ve chosen an easier one, but oh well. Pacing was tricky with all the hills. Finished in 3:21, and without the elevation, I feel I could’ve been faster. Now to recover and gear up for my full marathon in March at Little Rock!
