An extremely gaslighting message from a mother to their transgender son who is worried about the calls for violence against trans people. The message reads: "U have to stop reading social media, not everything on ther is true.and no im not blowing you off or acting like your over reacting.i think there alot of hate on there and I would not look at it so your not so afraid."

The trans son's response is: "Oh yeah that will make it go away"

Since we travel a lot for work, we get to see places I'd never normally go. I think it will bring me a little joy to reflect on these times.

2. I love that place. I love what it represents. How we invited nature to be a part of something so special to us.

The future is currently uncertain. I always hoped our tree friend would far out live us. That we would be a fond memory of a long lived life.

1. There's this tree in Sleeping Bear Dunes in the view of where we got married. We affectionately call it our wedding guest.

We try to return to that place once a year to enjoy that spot and have a visit with our old friend.

We've gone to see them twice now.
