My opinions on college, AI, and what a @code release looks like... is this a clickbait-y enough title?😉

Thanks @oliviaguzzardo.bsky.social + Reynald for having me 🙏 always love chatting with you both!

It me 🚀 it was a really fun feature to work on. Lmk if you have any questions!
You can now use the #fetch tool for including content from a publicly accessible webpage – super helpful for things like including the latest docs as context in your prompt.

I’m doing this big migration that needed me to create over 40 PRs in an Azure Repo…

when my script finally finished creating all of them, Azure DevOps kindly sent me over 400 emails from builds that were auto-triggered from opening the PRs lol

Why is it so chatty?

I’m personally most excited about Copilot’s Free tier now is that it pairs soo well with Copilot extensibility.

I can write a really cool AI-powered @vscode.dev extension in TypeScript and not have to pay a dime… but also my users don’t have to either.

This year was a big travel year for me and it was amazing - I am truly so lucky and privileged to be able to do so. These trips were really special:

💒 Reconnecting with family & friends
💭 Daydreaming about living in ___

What will 2025 have in store 🤔

Wild to me that I’m in an industry that talks about AGI…

but if I want a copy of my birth certificate with the city name on it I have to send a photocopy of my ID & a check for $15 by mail to Jacksonville.

Copilot Edits has helped me a ton with building a few of my smaller websites. I include the entire site as context and it makes changes across all files.

Ex. My improv group website lol:
dollbrick.com

Honestly, wouldn't have started these projects without Copilot making it easy it iterate.

Yesterday was World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims… so a quick, extremely fresh, story

Last Thurs, my friend was hit by a car walking home at around 5pm causing a concussion and fractured vertebrae.

Doctors say she will recover… in time, but…
