I can relate so much to this. I’m on Vancouver island but almost my entire Sangha is in Portland and have all become so important to me and I’m torn by the reality that if we focus primarily on Canada and see positive results it’s at least partially to the detriment of many important people to me.

It is totally worth it to get back into this book. I love everything Ozeki has written. Such humour and insight into zen.
