but now it is done! also, you may also wonder why i am only making boards now, or why this is not fully animated and colored like the old ones. it is because i am only one person making BROBOT :) enjoy the episode!

i have fond memories of the fair this time of year, which is why i’m putting it out now! but it’s been in the works for a while: i worked on this animatic on and off for two years. this was such a hard show… something about the storyline, stakes, and pacing were hard to crack.

that’s probably what i’ll do. sometimes you get too close to things.

love BROBOT. it’s so weird to have a character feel alive. i must keep telling his story… (whatever i come up with, lmao). it’s what makes cartoons more real and compelling than anything else to me.

but the characters feel real to me. I am the only one making it. to abandon it feels at odds with who i am. i think i’m going to keep making it but revise old shows into something funnier and better, and make new ones better than that.

i love the BROBOT episodes i’ve made but i’ve struggled with the format and concept for a while, and as much as i love it, i feel artistically disconnected from its origins. it’s just been a long time! i think i’ve grown and it may be time to move on, but i love BROBOT so much.

KOTH more consistent in tone, simpsons becomes tonally off the wall fast and is nonstop funny. KOTH gives you time to breathe. love both.
