I’m not exaggerating when I say that Mewgenics might finally tip the scale on forcing me to buy a steam deck

Jacob do you use anything specific to track your games? Backloggd is a fantastic project if you haven’t checked it out

There were a few moments early on that felt pretty obtuse, but I was honestly surprised how well the game keeps you moving in the right direction. I only had to refer to a guide a couple times

I finally played it this year as my first true Metroidvania and this room was literally the only thing I knew going in. I’m glad I knew ahead of time because that’s the kind of thing I’d stop playing over too if it blindsided me lol. Great game though.

Slots & Daggers is a great pickup for a couple bucks on Steam. Pretty fun roguelike with exceptional art and music. It’s a solo dev too who’s gonna be adding more content now that it’s gotten some traction!

I was excited for this but had to put it down after seeing how poorly it runs on Switch 2. I even had a crash mid run so I guess I’m waiting until they fix it.

Hey! I’m enjoying the game a lot but there are pretty consistent lag issues and crashes on Switch 2. Is there a performance patch planned anytime soon?

Insanely well deserved! Congrats to the team

Sad to see no Ghost of Yotei but also understandable, this has been an incredible year for games.

Hoping for a Hades II win but would love to see E33 get it too!

One of the games I’ve completed the most number of times. My grandma had a GameCube at her house so anytime we were there for a holiday or something my cousin and I would play the entire thing.

It’s so funny because I thought I for sure had a top 10 nailed down and when I went to actually make the list I could only really nail down 5 or 6

Trying to limit myself to a single entry from a series too because otherwise a third of my list would be Sly Cooper

Might be a little strange but you could have left analog stick dedicated to combat actions and the right one controls the targeting mouse

I think having buttons mapped for snapping your cursor to certain button groups helps, I always get annoyed at controller games with a slow virtual cursor
