Okay but what is it that you want and can realistically achieve. It took decades to get civil rights across the finish line, and even longer for gay marriage. But changing the entire system with one candidate probably not feasible. What is in reach is universal healthcare which is a good start

On the upside Trump 2.0 is way worse than his first term and has manage to alienate his own voters with terrible policy decisions that we saw coming miles away

I feel like it largely failed due to Biden dropping out last minute. He was supposed to be a transitory president and changed his mind last minute. Leftists feel like they weren’t heard because there was no time to do a new primary, and everyone else didn’t really know Kamala.

Same I’m in Texas. They’re campaigning outside of an election cycle and meeting voters where they are to get people unified in defeating trump. Trump did it extensively from 2020-2024 and got back in power which is what he needed to get votes back.

They’re not attacking women, trans people, immigrants, constitutional rights, imposing tariffs, attacking education, and making billionaires richer. And if you’re not voting out of protest then you’re part of the problem and extremely privileged

Great strategy

You don’t owe anyone your loyalty, and I don’t think you’re giving them loyalty by avoiding a right wing outcome.
