It’s been almost two weeks, and I finally have time to announce: Owen came home with us at long last!
Owen in his car seat, about to leave the hospital for the first time ever! Owen cuddling with his mom on the couch at home. Owen fast asleep beside Dad. He’s wearing a pumpkin-print onesie! Owen stretched out and having fun!

One week update on Owen!
Our Owen boy turned a week old yesterday! We're so proud of how well he's doing in the NICU ❤️ Little wins: - His team has added my breast milk to his diet - He is already 2.8 ounces heavier than his birth weight - A lung that was giving him trouble has healed itself, so he's receiving less oscillator support and had a chest tube removed - Mom and Dad can change his diaper, take his temperature, swaddle him and give skin-to-skin "hand hugs" Fun fact: He has a ton of dark, wavy hair!

Owen Isaac Beckett was born on June 5, 2024 at 4:50 p.m. He was delivered by emergency c-section and will be staying in the NICU at Cedars-Sinai for the next few months. Emma is recovering well, and we are so happy and in love with our boy.
