I've read a lot of the texts for different religions when I got into a hyper focus mode on religions. My neurodivergent fixation stopped before I got into the alternate biblical texts though. :)

But, funny story, I worked with a model from Slovenia when I was a fashion and editorial photographer. She had only been in the country for a year and spoke way better English than this.

It would soften over time though, like every adult person I know who moved from another country to this one. They get teased when they go back home because their accents got "Americanized".

It's crazy how I'm seeing South Beach Miami prices at my local restaurants, and I live in rural podunk nowhere. I saw breakfast prices for a restaurant here and a basic omelet was almost $20, add toast for $3 more. It's ridiculous.
