This is what’s happening on the mountain tonight. Thankfully, the firefighters were able to contain it. Four out of the last six years there has been a major fire near me. Last year there were 3 fires and we were evacuated for 10 days. Climate change is real. Vote wisely.

This air on this beautiful Spring evening is filled with birdsongs. I choose to take this time to recognize that this is the land of the Yokuts that I am fortunate enough to experience.

This interesting fellow decided to pay a visit to us this morning.
