Hey, in this case, it's good to be wrong! I know about assuming all too well. But I also know it's Valve, lol. Glad to know its shaping up to be a good VR contender.

Just assumption based on the initial presentation. Hoping I can turn off the onboard sound and use my own, but nothing from the description or imagery indicated this. And I certainly doubt I'm the minority here on wanting that feature, so it's weird that Valve didn't address it.

It doesn't have a headset, as in SOUND. The thing covers your eyes, not your ears. The sound coming from that would be garbage. I use full gaming headsets like the Steelseries Nova Pro Wireless that are way better than that built-in stuff. I'd want to use that in conjunction with the 'eye' headset.

Apparently this DOES have PC power via a dongle. And capacitive finger tracking through those controllers. I...might buy this. Still no headset ability I don't think, but if the onboard sound is good, that works too!

Well hell, I guess it does. I might get one after all.

Thanks for clarifying. Forgive me Steam and GabeN, for I know not what I say. I'll spend more in the Winter Sale to make up for this transgression.

Oh sweet, so the Steam Frame is a wireless version of the Valve Index that I always wanted! Right? .......right?
