I thought it was good. I liked the narrative flow and the moral ambiguity, but I think the story telling could have been tighter. I think much of the criticism probably comes from the fandom and some elements not fitting into their expectations/imagination of the world, but this is only a guess.

To build a world with interconnected communities and mutually shared trust, respect, and collaboration, I think we need move people towards a more intersectional lens and embrace of novelty and difference as a positive that brings value while fighting bigotry, prejudice, and monoculture.

I often feel the same. Sadly, I think it comes down to the same old "push / pull" tensions between the individual vs society. As a tribe/group, we reinforce cohesion to the identity, force members to hold to it, and dehumanize the other. As individuals, our context and interaction is subjective.

Taxation
- Lower the federal estate tax threshold to $1,000,000 dollars.
- Increase capital gains tax to the same as income tax.
- Remove Trump era tax cuts.
- Remove the caps on Social Security taxation.

- Work with the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) and National Endowment for the Art (NEA) to create a robust structure for providing grants to not-for-profit community journalism organizations.

Journalist Integrity
- Establish a law that differentiates between protected free speech in journalism vs editorial opinion and requires that editorial opinion is labelled as such in broadcast.

- Create a low-cost public financing option for higher education.
- Provide college debt relief.

- Fund the Department of Education to create a non-government organization to create and publish open-source textbooks for all standard courses.

- Create a national curriculum guide with approved syllabi and list of resources with universal course numbering for K-12 public education.

- Creation of a public and free vote tracking system for all levels of government (from federal to city level) that includes the voting record of each elected representative and a pro/con statement for each proposal.

- A law that group donating money to political causes should have to publicly disclose their board of directors and/or ownership. No more unnamed llc donating money. This should include PACS and political campaigns.

- Create limitations on the use of power by the President’s Office that limit the office to historical rights & responsibilities. Limit the scope of Executive Actions (EA) to federal agencies under direct control of the Office of the Executive and emergency actions.

- Set campaign contribution limits for all federal elections at a much lower level.
- Law requiring that all elected representatives at the federal level are required to place all investment assets in a federally established trust while in office.

- Constitutional amendment stating that economic activity ARE NOT free speech and limit corporate rights to due process, the protection from undue political targeting & unreasonable searches, neutral enforcement of free speech, and the ability to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Good Governance
- Bar all publicly elected representatives, heads of agencies, and senior staff from holding any lobbying or political advocacy job for six years after leaving elected office.

- Negotiate federal pricing for prescription drugs covered under any/all public plans.

- Federal law protecting the right for all minors to be able to receive non-surgical gender supportive care and for all adults to any gender affirming care (including surgery and/or invasive procedures) they desire.

Health
- Public health insurance option at the national level that provides the same level of coverage as elected representative and is pro-rated to income.
- Federal law protecting the right to an abortion.

- Streamline regulations to make the process of obtaining building permits and permissions much easier. This should be a state run program but the federal government should give money and staff that can advise to help find ways to better align state and federal regulations to simplify the process.

- Housing affordability where the goal should be two fold: enough housing so that every working American family can get on the property ladder. Enough state run temporary housing so that people who are unhoused can have a safe place to stay. This needs to include a push for social services.

- Establish a definition for a not-for-profit organization that creates a structure for organizations that want to engage in economic output without profit based motives. This includes regulations, financial disclosure, requirements to ensure the function is for the social good.

- National right to advanced schedule. Any variable shift worker has the right to know their schedule at least two weeks in advance.
- Raise the national minimum wage for both tipped and non-tipped work to $15 dollars an hour and set an automatic yearly increase matching inflation.
