But then - TWIST! - various clues lead us to discovering that the yellow tabby *is* a girl (ie, I finally caved to the possibility of being wrong and my partner was right lol)

In the process of fixing up an old mandolin, and you won't believe what someone did to this old Silvertone lmao - this little cut-out was done to *bolt* the neck to the body. With a big ol' washer, too.

We had to hospitalize my dear little fuzzy old man yesterday, and it will be tomorrow before I can even call to check up on him

Actually I think this turn towards conservatism in young men is a part of a desperate search for a sense of structure, meaning, and purpose
The "rebels" can't even rebel against "the mainstream" bc there is no "mainstream" anything anymore
