I wouldn't agree with that, I think AMD did an amazing job when it comes to the 6k and 7k series. I think people just didn't have the trust after all the driver issues on old gen cards. But, who knows, they might release some banger cards and destroy both NVidia and Intel

I hope so too but people will buy products from companies that they trust. Just look at NVidia. 4060/ti was terribly priced, yet it's on top of steam hardware stats. But then again, intel has put a good pricing on it. We'll see what time shows
